The 4-H purpose is achieved through the development and support of leadership teams of staff, volunteers, youth, and others who organize and conduct educational project experiences in community and family settings.

Santa Clara County Master Gardeners are knowledgeable volunteers who have successfully completed a 16 week, 60 plus hour training program in home horticulture. Master Gardeners have become primary extenders of information from the University of California to the home gardeners in California.

Nutrition, Family and Consumer Science
Offering opportunities for families, individuals, and youth to enhance their quality of living by providing resources that support independence and self-sufficiency.
