Solving problems and exploring new techniques to improve the productivity of California's food and fiber industries.

Master Gardener Master Gardener
Santa Clara County Master Gardeners are knowledgeable volunteers who have successfully completed a 16 week, 60 plus hour training program in home horticulture. Master Gardeners have become primary extenders of information from the University of California to the home gardeners in California.

Natural Resources and Live Stock Natural Resources and Live Stock
This program provides relevant and unique information to assist public and private land owners and livestock operators in Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara and San Mateo counties in addressing natural resource management issues, such as water quality, grazing impacts, and controlling invasive species.

Nutrition, Family and Consumer Sciences Nutrition, Family and Consumer Sciences
Our Nutrition, Family and Consumer Sciences Program provides Santa Clara County’s residents with educational resources that target our county's diverse multicultural communities.

Specialty Small Farms Specialty Small Farms
Our UCCE Farm Advisor works with the specialty crop farmer performing cultivar evaluations on cucurbits, oriental vegetables. Helps sponsor irrigation training.

4-H Youth Development 4-H Youth Development
The 4-H purpose is achieved through the development and support of leadership teams of staff, volunteers, youth, and others who organize and conduct educational project experiences in community and family settings.
