• Participation in local events

-Parades

-Food shelters

-Local celebrations

-Petting zoos

-Clean ups

• Advertisement

-Invite local reporters to observe and photograph community service activities

-Invite local dignitaries to attend and present at award ceremonies

-Place ads in monthly notices/papers about meeting dates and times

-Make sure local paper reports on special honors and activities accomplished by any members: fair prizes, scholarships, record book awards

-Send out fliers at schools detailing a brief description of 4-H, including meeting dates and times
