GLOSSARY OF TERMS FOR
COUNCIL POSITIONS/COMMITTEES
EXECUTIVE BOARD: All elected council officers
COUNCIL: Open to all leaders in 4-H. Meets once every other month to discuss and determine policy and programs going on in the county. Also includes county All-Stars.
REVIEW BOARD: Appointed by president. Consists of 3 or 5 persons with the goal of Reviewing code of conduct infractions and determining appropriate consequences.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE: Appointed by president. Consists of 3 or 5 persons whose job it is to find and nominate 4-H leaders for existing council positions.
PROGRAM PLANNING COMMITTEE: Selected by Vice President as a group of people (any number) to search out and prepare informative educational programs for the leaders council.
PROGRAM: Any informational educational presentation made to the council for the purpose of enlightenment, entertainment, and/or broadening awareness.
BUDGET COMMITTEE: Consists of 3-5 people who meet in the Fall to review the previous year budget and develop one for the current year. Budget will include expected expense and income items. Committee is to use budget from the previous year as a guideline.
