TERM:

• 2 years, renewable for 2 more years

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preside over all Council and Executive Board meetings and serve as ex-officio member of all committees of the County 4-H Council.

-Executive Board meets six times a year, alternating months with the County Council, which meets six times a year as well.

• Provide the meeting agenda and facilitate meeting discussion

-Talk to members of executive board and council representatives to find out what

needs to be discussed

-List items on agenda in appropriate order

-Make copies of agenda for all attendees

• Appoint chairpersons to committees as needed
• Appoint the Review Board and Nominating Committee
• Act as the public liaison for the Santa Clara County 4-H Council
• Fulfill any other responsibilities listed in county by-laws
