Summer Camp Staff Apps out on Yahoo group Files area. Due into UCCE Santa Clara office by 2008-01-15
Discussion: Some felt that the payment for staff applicants earlier than the normal campers seems to be a burden for the staffers. Looking for alternative ideas. Murlin is going to ask the Leadership Team how they want to handle this issue. Timeline for applications and payments.
The financial aid process in place will govern how the scholarship monies get dealt with. Financial aid apps are on the web site. Financial aid applications must be submitted 1 month prior to the date when payment for fees would be required. Applications must be sent to the county extension office.
Working with new leadership team - next meetings are 2007-12-13, 2008-01-05
Treasurer's report
Peer review committee - two adults and two youth
$50,000 CD up for renewal in two days. Exec board agreed to have it rolled into a 9 month "risk-free" CD.
Looking into future planning: how much does SCC4H club council bring in each year and how much do we pay out? What is our plan for supporting Leader development and member access to conferences and overnight activities? Conference chairs need to remind the membership that the financial aid process needs to precede by 30 days the need to send money.

Shep Zeldin curriculum from SLF07 will be talked about here, and there will be a training in Jan about it.
e-training as a mechanism of retraining is coming. Retraining may be required every other year. Too many policy issues are coming up each year that leaders need to know about.
