SJ Gaints 4-H game day? They normally charge $1000 to be advertised this way. This would provide a place for the information booth and our name on the score board. Club flyers need to be updated.

leader orientation tomorrow night. Need ALL leaders orientated.
Texas delagation coming Monday Aug 13th at Prusch Park -> oportunity to help present to that delegation.
Disability -> 4-H is non-discriminatory.
Large Animals -> all large animals are to be owned by youth members or the club forfeits the insurance from UC.
Discussion on animal ownership by youth. Deborah to send out a letter to clarify this.

CA 4-H Foundation handout -> provides money for various activities within the State.
proficiencies: Stills -> no change. animals -> new mindset to use the proficiencies. most of the work was designed to be signed off at the club level.

5 day fair. midway coming back. adults will be allowed to enter in stills. $4.5 million approved for long term improvements to the fairgrounds. proposals are out to determine the fate of the fairgrounds. supervisors recognize the need to have a yearly county fair. $650000 budget for the fair.
Need to get more fair advertising going.
