Form 990 submitted to the Feds. Registration and dues were submitted to the State 4-H.
VP report: Gina
Clubs have been requested to come and give a report at Council meetings. No new volunteers for this presentation. Adams will report this meeting.
Adams 4-H members:
4 members presented. Adams has 34 members. Goals for this coming year are to have all members participate in record books, and to increase attendance at Fair. Leadership is a strong component of Adams 4-H Club. Promotes 4-H in the local community. Attends differnt community activities to represent 4-H.
Communication is another part: as is Camradery.

Next is LO. Apps are due soon. Email out to remind membership.
Jackets were collected at the winter dance to donate to the needy. All the attempted donations were already full, so many suggestions were made as to where to donate.
Competition between clubs are going to be at the 4-H olympics.

14 apps already in for Presentation Day. Workshop this weekend at the Coyote Grange.
Youth Advisor: Fe Moncloa
Office has mailed out publicaitons to the clubs about the various opportunities for members and families. Feedback is desired as to what was good about them as well as what to add.
Workshop/orientation was held for new leaders.
Record Book training - will be held as soon as we can get someone to present it.
Question about what the main differences are in the new vs old is that there are fewer fixed requirements, the PDF is changed and the format is easier to fill out for the first time Sr. Record book members.
Summer Camp dates:
Campers: Tuesday July 17 thru Saturday, July 21
Staff: Monday, July 16 thru Sunday, July 22
Clovers: Friday, July 20
Site: Camp Hidden Falls, Soquel
Staff applications are due in C.E. Office by January 16 (extended due to MLK Holiday)
A committee will meet soon thereafter to select the Youth Directors and then the staff will be chosen. First Camp Staff Meeting will be Monday, February 26, 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Berger Drive Auditorium. Meetings will be the 4th Monday of the month except for May. Due to Memorial Day we will meet May 21
Hans' Fair report
Financially, it appears that Santa Clara County BOS is fully funding the Cooperative Extension office for the next few years.
153 acres of Fairgrounds is looked at as a gold mine as possible real estate sale. More money has been requested for capital improvements at the fairgrounds. Also, an advance on the fair was asked for and granted. Changes to this year's fair will be announced soon.
Discussion transitioned to the newly established rule about the livestock entrants must also enter a Stills exhibit. Many questions were asked as to the methods of meeting the requirement. Some creative ideas were discussed.
Proficiency tests will eventually be on line. Ten are ready to go, and work is progressing on others. Generic tests will be the guide for the development of new tests. On line by Feb 1.
CAL conference at Walker Creek Ranch last weekend in Jan.
Committee to review requests for financial assistance process. Process is being developed, but no final report.
megaField Day. Murlin wants to make this an official event for SCC4-H. Need to create a line item on the budget. Also, add Small and Large Animal Field Day as official 4-H events. Comments ranged from the need to increase public awarness in 4-H and the ability to
Motion to have the MegaField Day at Prusch Park during the Harvest Festival become an official yearly event. The expense of the event will be dealt with at a future date.
Tom Fraser and Carol Crossett have developed a workshop that they are willing to present in our county. 3 to 5 hour trainig session.
In the Jan TT, the Talent Show was announced.
